Lift law generally less than 6" is okay.

Still looking for bumper width and fender coverage.

The only other thing i know is driving lights and fogs are legal when below 42" of the road way and not in use when hi-beams are on. I can use my KC Hi-Lites on my bumper, but not A pillar mounted lights on the high way.

Jiffy Lube can be a problem for inspection, they failed me last year because my headlights were too high for their headlight alignment tool. I went home and swapped on my 32's and passed fine.

from wilkesboro down actually has different standards for inspection on the west side there is no emission inspection and on the east they use a sniffer to check so it depends where you are moving. Noone enforces most of the vehicle inspection laws. Building codes and permits are where they will screw you. If youre buying a house make sure it passes everything or you cant get power to it and it can cost you a shit load to ever get moved in.

also on the tint, none of the backwoods inspection stations can afford a meter so most dont care.Or you can take off the doors since you can spraypaint the back glass and sides. the only glass you legally need to see through is the front sides and windshield. Just dont tint more than 6 inches down the windshield and youll be fine. like I said it all depends where you are moving to

X2 on the back woods places. I have found most places will only really enforce rules when theyu can sell you a fix. A muffler shop will find something to fix, a tire shop will try to sell something. I don't know anyone who has a problem getting anything to pass.

yeah they are pretty lax with the inspection laws here, once you see some of the rigs driving around you'll see why I say that lol.
