This may sound PREtarded but is there any harm in leaving the soft top all rolled up nicey nice undisturbed in its factory Shipping stowage wrap inside the Jeep with the Hard top on?
I cannot forsee taking the soft top out without taking the hard top off. Being a teeny bit chilly out I guess i am at the hands of being lazy?
Yeah Spacewise I can see that. I was worried about bending a spar or something and was looking at ways to support it so it doesn't. Whew Never the less the Htop has to come off to remove it though? Keeping my screen name in mind LOL
I do remember once reading about someone getting rearended and it tore up the hard AND soft tops at the same time.Gonna get out the 'ole Binford power hard top remover and reddy-heater combo?
Yes, you have to remove the hard top to get it out.
The only dange is that any damage is not covered under warranty. If you have a leak later on, and they can prove you rode around for a long time, they might give you grief for it. I think the bigger danger is in damaging it accidentally while putting something in the cargo area.
