Poly, Johnny or Rubber/Clevite?

Not really a fair comparison...a johnny joint (or similar) isn't a bushing really, since it doesn't rely on the deflection of the polyurethane for movement. I'll throw that one out of the comparison because of that.
Between poly and rubber, it depends on the quality of either. That said, a GOOD quality rubber bushing will easily outlast a poly bushing. That's why the Teraflex control arms have a Clevite rubber bushing at one end, and a flex joint at the other. The joint gives the flex, the bushing gives the vibration dampening and sound deadening.

x2 rubber will last a long time if treated right, and you'll get a better quallity ride. Poly is good but stiff.
