Air intake project for $26! I made this with all new parts sourced from a local speed/performance shop's extras bin. The intake tube was much longer with additional curevs I had to cut up and do additional bends, 3" diameter. The throtle body connector was from a Home Depot 90 degree elbow with the ends cut off and shortened. The air filter is form HiperSpeed. I also kept the air sensor connection at stock location and the PCV hose near stock location.
I am working on a heat shield next.
So far I have noticed crisper throttle response with more get up and passing capbitlities. The gas milage has also seemed to incresed per the computer readings i've noted. @70MPH it's averaging 2+ MPG increase.
Just thought i'd share this mod with you guys.
