I'm considering doing a custom hack-job to the front of my JK.
Would any of you Colorado guys/gals be interested in a perfect Red Rock Fab front winch bumper, with the skid plate and a super-trick spotter cam?
If anybody LOCALLY wants it, shoot me a PM or a text, and we can discuss a fair price. (218)340-3838. NOT SHIPPING!
I'm still not 100% on what my plan is, but if there is a motivated buyer for the bumper, I would make a move. This could be the only way to get one of these bumpers now.

Why not just chop the sides off and make it a stuby?

I thought about that. But it's such a nice bumper, I would rather see it on another JK. Don't want to hack up one of the nicest JK bumper designs.
The design I'm thinking about involves cutting the frame back, mounting the winch between the frame rails, and adding some plate and a little tube work.
It's all in my head still, but I'll sketch it up one of these days...

I'd like to do the same thing and I have some ideas also... I'm not going to be around here anymore so sent me an email alecwallis@live.com or PM me on .org.

Do you think there is enough room to mount the winch there? The e-disco motor is located in that area I think.
Dont want to steel your thunder but Kelly from Red Rock said he is still in business but with fewer production runs.

You're not stealing my thunder. I want kelly to keep on rockin'. In fact, he's currently building me a custom rear bumper.:grinpimp:
And yes, a winch will fit in there. I'm ditching the e-disco.

Sweet. Please post pics of the rear bumper, I am a big fan of his rear bumper much more so than the front.
Pics of the winch mounted would be cool too if you can.

The rear bumber he's building me is nothing like the one they have offered. This one is very stubby, with a tire carrier that will hinge on the driver-side. It's designed to work with a comp-cut and stretched 2D.
I'll post some pics when it's done.:)
