flyin out

aloha from a land far far away... ok a little dramatic I know, but philadelphia is pretty far from you folks. Anyway I am flyin out to the islands this w/e Maui specifically I will be on the island for about 10 days and I would love to check out some local wheeling attractions but I cant find anything. Anyone have any ideas or interesting stuff for me to hit up. I am no stranger to the islands as this is my third time out and second to Maui so I have done the whole road to hana thing and some of the more touristy stuff, I really wanna show the g/f what the islands are all about this time out (she has never been out). Any input welcome and thnx in advance... see ya in paradise.

Not sure as I haven't been to Maui. There are some other guys on here who might be able to help you out. Actually, if you PM any of the other people who post in this area they might be able to help you out. Just look through the previous posts on "what have you done to your jeep" or the other chat/event threads in this forum for the members here.

Aloha....based on the number of trips to da islands you should have a pretty good idea of the area. Its been a while since Ive been on this road but might be a good idea to check out in case you havent aready done so. I have a good friend who knows Maui like the back of his hand. I will see if he can pass on some info for ya...

thats is deffinately added to the list, this is exactly the kind of stuff I am looking for, things that the typical tourist doesnt hit. I know we are hitting haleakala and biking down so maybe we can hit this road the same day.

Shoot me an e-mail rich@ohanatrails.com and ill try and get you more info on da local scene....sorry for the added measure but land access is very limited on all the islands therefore we are trying to ensure we are able to sustain our way of life, hobbies, and passion. Just keep in mind to respect the land and its people and I guarantee you will recieve the "Aloha Spirit". Aloha!
