gas cap prompt?

This morning it flashed "GASCAP" for the first time on the dash, I checked it twice and it seems to be snug as a bug:shaking:... Is there anything else I should be checking?

If you've been offroad, then check your evap canister. I think it'll throw a cas cap warning if it's damaged (or gone).

I got the gascap message when brush had drug the wires off of the evap cannister.. plugged back in, disco'd the battery for a minute, and all was well..

I wish i got that for a warning.. all I got was the check engine light, so I checked the code..

Unfortunately, it can be a leak almost anywhere. We have had smashed cannisters, cracked fill tubes, smashed gas tanks pinching lines...it's a guessing game--just start working down the line, or better yet, let the dealership do it under warranty! ;)

Yes Take it into Fiat and let them fix it. :)
