I get an odd vibe (as in vibration..) in the steering wheel at about 55 miles an hour.
A sort of.. thumping..... Very rhythmic.
It occured after very light trail riding.
Anyone know what it might be? I don't have the money to fix it, most likely. (30 cents in bank account, anybody?)

Mud inside the rim or scraped off/slid around a wheel weight would be my guess...

Yeah, spray the wheels off really good (inside too) and see if that solves your problem. Doesn't take much mud to throw off the balance.

Did spray them off already.. Maybe I missed some mud.
What do the weights look like?
(I'm a car newbie... but I love to learn :D)
What would the different possibilities cost to fix, at most, and a good price i could hope to find. XD

Had a similar experience with mine, but it wasn't mud it was a lot of snow :D Gave me quite a start, not fun to have the Jeep start shaking at 50MPH on possibly icy freeways :shaking:
The weights are small pieces of lead, about 3/4" long, slight arc to them, attached to the outside edge of the wheels.

They also can be stickon weights that mount in the back part of the rim to
