While all the fancy bumpers look nice, they are not my style (or price range). I decided to go old school, so I bumed some 6x2 tube steel off my old company.

i like the storage idea but i think the rear sticks out to far and looks lower than the stock one (could just be the pics though) ad the eye hooks on the front seem usless, you cant run a toe strap thru it and you shouldnt be using the kind with metal hooks on them

one of a kind.. why didnt u make the front a stubby?

i also think you should pull the plastic front frame cover off and make a peice of metal there and the bottom, kinda closing it in.

Let's see: the eyelets work great with shackles on the straps. I had them on my stock stubby I made before this one.

I'm thinking of puting a rear deck to fill in the space.

I have already pulled the front plastic, and that space is set aside for a winch (at a later date).

I'm swaggering on the stubby. Its' only metal. I can cut it and make new ends. I'll be out wheelin' the next few weekends, so I'll see how it does.

I'd rather have the eyes on the front like that and use the D when needed then have D's banging around on the front all the time. Good job, very basic, very useable and simple no nonsense.

Nice job elcampe, I think a stubby version on the front would be pretty sweet, the back is almost a stubby and if you added some d-ring tow points on the back that'd be really sweet.

Love the storage idea.
