: HARD TOP
Landshark 01-17-2008, 08:16 AM I found a hard top like the soft top you guys were talking about earlier. Pics I found online for the Las Vegas Sema Show in 2007.

MichaelW 01-18-2008, 08:47 AM Yep That's Mel's JK.
I like the top for sure but I have to add that I'm not a fan of bling and the billet door handles are blinging but Mel pulled it off on this look.
Good job Mel!
Landshark 01-22-2008, 09:18 AM where did he get that hardtop?
where did he get that hardtop?
It's a Wild Boar. They had them at SEMA, here's a link to their website and online store...

I really liked their tops, but they're racks were a little meh.
Living Still 01-22-2008, 10:53 AM The top definitely looks great, but it doesn't look like it would give you as much room vertically to put cargo back there. Just a thought....

True, but I've never heard of anyone buying a Jeep for its Cargo storage capabilities. Nobody that was sober anyways.

Maybe in the old days before the 4-door. I really like the look of the sloped back too, but I wouldn't want to give up that extra space. You can really pack a bunch of crap in there. For me though, I need the extra space for Scout.

:D Good point, but I think on a longer trail like the Rubicon you're going to be wishing you had every inch available for you to stuff with whatever .

WillysJeepSHop 02-09-2008, 02:52 PM You can buy the sema show FASTBACK hard top in a standard or T top version from $3100-$3495. I saw them at www.JKRacks.info They also have a cool rack that fits the squareback, ragtop, or the fastback top. It has an awning, and can support a VW style pop up camper top very cool:bounce:
Dustoff '68 02-25-2008, 04:48 PM Would be nice if they had a 2 door model
luigi0523 02-25-2008, 06:10 PM I like the look,:smokin: but a little pricey. But I wouldn't be buying a hardtop if I didn't already have one.

You ought to try wheeling a TJ with two kids in car seats :D
It was a real shock when I loaded the JK for the fist time with my usual gear. I still don't know what to do with all the extra room!
Would be nice if they had a 2 door model
Exactly.
