So who has installed heated seats? Where did you get them? I've found a couple places but figure I have a bit before I jump on this project as I'm working on my trailer and multiple battery wiring.
Mostly fishing to see if anyone used the existing heated seat stuff in the JK or if it is just a empty spot on the fuse box that doesn't have the wiring already in place.
A guy from jkforum added heated seats to his JK. He ordered 'em from http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/pedecafiunhe.html, paid an upholstery shop to put the pads in the seats and he did all the wiring himself.
I had them in a Tahoe and a few others, I found the sensation of having my backside warm and my front side cool odd to say the least. I do not plan on repeating it. You mileage may vary. The wife loved them.
I had my dealer install the Mopar heated seat kit. They work well, but the control switches broke in the first week of use. New control switches are on order and will be replaced under warranty as soon as they arrive.
They are made by Check Corp and are basically the Check Corp premium kit.
Thanks for postig up the link-- i'm dying for a set in the CJ and a set will certainly make the JK even nicer!
